A college friend of Matt and myself, Heidi (Stewart) Hoffman, passed away suddenly yesterday at the age of 33. Since college we've seen Heidi here and there, but most recently came somewhat in touch with her again through the news that she had found out she had uterine cancer. I've been reading about her journey to beat it through the CaringBridge website she had started to keep friends and family informed. Please pray for her husband and all of the family and close friends she had. It's a great shock to everyone.

This news is soooo sad. I would love to hear her contagious laugh one more time. She was soooo full of life! I was reading through her journal entries and the one thing that kept resonating is how much she trusted God and her strong faith in Him. If we all had faith like that even when life gets tough.
