I do not suggest ever spontaneously waking up and deciding to go get family photos spur of the moment! Not that it would have gone any better if we had planned it out. We went to Sears again and our 1pm appt turned into Derek's feeding time and bowel expulsion time. So we stepped out to take care of business and waited for the 2:30 appt. By this time Brynn was so sugared up she was running laps around the racks and they were both ready for naps. We go back in and Brynn either looks away, puts her hand in her face, or Derek starts fussing. Brynn has never been very cooperative when it comes to pictures and they were very busy so I felt like we couldn't take the time to get even better shots. Derek smiles and laughs all the time but we couldn't get a single photo of him doing so. Needless to say we got a few OK photos but none that I was really picturing we'd get, but I do not want to do that again anytime soon!

Kara-these are adorable!! I love the grin on Brynn's face in the bottom photo ( very mischievious)
Have a very Happy Thanksgiving!
I think they turned out great! You would never know your experience based on the photos. I understand though. Brooke HATED pictures until this last time we went. I really prepped her a lot and she was fantastic - it probably helped that she was only in 5 or so pictures :) I hope you have a great Thanksgiving!
I had to laugh when I read this post. It is so similar to how things go for us when we try to get the girls pictures taken. I think the picts are beautiful.
