This morning during worship services Brynn whispers to me, "Momma, I have a secret." I was expecting her usual, "I Love You.", but got something much more entertaining.
Brynn: "God is in the trash can."
Me: (puzzled look) "Um yes, God is everywhere."
Brynn: "God is in the trash can."
Me: "He is? Why is he there?"
Brynn: "Because he is so silly."
...sweet Brynn finally has had some jealously issues kicking in. She does not want for us to give Derek attention and has been doing baby talk, always asking to be picked up and held, and in general having more meltdowns than usual. She even told Matt that she thought he loved Derek more than her :-( She is still very sweet to him and she can calm him down when he gets fussy, but just wants us to stay away from him. So, we've been having to work extra hard to give her special one on one time and reassure her that we have enough room in our hearts to love both of them.
