Suggs Roots

We had some great time with my dad's side of the family last weekend. It had been awhile since we had all gotten together like that. We need to do it more often!

The food was awesome and I ate like it was my last meal. I couldn't get enough of this cheese dip. Seriously, I couldn't! I kept saying it was so good and I told my aunt I would be talking about that dip to everyone for the next couple of weeks.

Beauty

I don't know what it was about today, but Brynn just looked so beautiful to me today. Well, ok, as a proud momma I think that she's beautiful everday - but today just seemed extra special. I don't think the pictures even capture what I saw, but I hope I will always remember it (even with her cute little Spaghettio mouth stains). She is growing up so fast!

Party Time

Much like kids her age, Brynn is really into pretend play and using her imagination. She likes to tell me I am Jasmine and she's the Princess. Well, the other night she was just so adorable. There was no coaching on what to say, it was all her little fairy tale.

She had her mind set that she needed to have a party. She went to her room and grabbed all one million and one of her blankies, baby dolls, stuffed animals, and the couch pillows and made a party pile. She grabbed Matt's phone and started to dial all of her little daycare friends (she named them all, including Ms Wanda, Reinhart, and the family pets).

She had to make cupcakes for the occasion. There would be dancing and plenty of ring-around-the-rosies. There would also be pizza to eat and NO sleeping. Sadly enough, she was adamant that daddy was NOT allowed to dance. She had to take time to stop and feed the babies.

Halloween (Part 2)

Much like last year, I made no plans to take Brynn trick-or-treating and then the night before my friend Amy calls and asks us to go with her kids. We took her up on the offer. They swapped costumes from last year and we pulled them in 2 wagons and they got the hang of us stopping in front of the house, jumping out and going up to the door, saying trick-or-treat, and hopping back in to go on to the next house. Thanks, Amy! It was tons of fun :-)
